Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about booking through our network and claiming your reward.
It's simple: You book an appointment through NextEyeExam.com, attend your exam, and pay the clinic directly for their services. After your appointment, you upload a photo of your clinic receipt to our website. Once we verify the visit with the clinic, we email you a $50 digital Mastercard within 24 hours.
There is no catch. Clinics normally pay tech companies (like Google) thousands of dollars for advertising. We think that money is better spent on patients. Clinics pay us a flat fee to match them with verified patients, and we share that fee directly with you.
No. The $50 reward is given for completing a comprehensive eye exam. Whether you purchase glasses, contact lenses, or nothing at all, you still receive your reward. (Though our partner clinics do have excellent selections!)
Yes. Every clinic on our platform is owned and operated by fully licensed Doctors of Optometry. We exclusively partner with highly-rated, independent professionals—not massive corporate chains.
Yes, you can absolutely use your third-party insurance (like Canada Life, Pacific Blue Cross, Sun Life). Our partner clinics offer direct billing. Note: If your exam is fully covered by government healthcare (BC MSP), provincial regulations prohibit us from offering the $50 financial reward, but you can still use our platform to easily book your appointment.
Once you upload your receipt, our team verifies it with the clinic. This process usually takes less than 72 hours. The $50 digital Mastercard is then emailed directly to the address you used to book.
Yes! It is a standard digital prepaid Mastercard. You can use it for online shopping, add it to your Apple Wallet/Google Pay for tap purchases, or use it anywhere Mastercard is accepted globally.
